::PLEASE DON'T FORGET TO SMILES::EH2,WHY I PUT SMILES WITH S?

One sunny day, in the Orchid Lab of Kuliyyah of Science, a nice good looking Mdm Linda told me..you will be learning SMILES, but you will not delighted when you work with it..ha,what does it means..the story begins..Mdm start to teach us about SMILES..Simplified Molecular Input Line Entry System..it is The simplified molecular input line entry specification or SMILES is a specification for unambiguously describing the structure of chemical molecules using short ASCII alpha-numeric strings.

SMILES strings can be imported by most molecule editors for conversion back into two-dimensional drawings or three-dimensional models of the the molecules. The SMILES specification was developed by David Weininger in the late 1980s. It has since been modified and extended by others, most notably by Daylight Chemical Information Systems Inc. Other 'linear' notations include the Wiswesser Line Notation (WLN), ROSDAL and SLN (Tripos Inc).

After we had understood about SMILES, Mdm told us to do some exercise and submit it to her.For me,SMILES is very challenging and teach me to be very patience. Here are the pictures of my SMILES efforts..hu2

As a conclusion, what Madam states at first about SMILES is totally true. No doubt. I'm not and i can't smile when i am working with SMILES..(T_T)..But i hope that one day i will like to spend my time with this stuff and smiling with it.Please pray for me..

<..."another new stuff in COS"...>

...amazing...fantastic...extraordinary...
=that's what i can say about today learning in orchid lab=
want to know why ?!
here is the answer
upps, before that, thank you Allah for giving me this opportunity
to learn, see and ponder your astound creation
You are the Only One,the Al-Mighty
ok,proceed with what i want to publish today
it's about PDB and trypsin structure...wow??
PDB is the abbreviation for Protein Data Bank
PDB is a website that offers to its visitors whom mainly scientist
(insha-Allah me in the future) a lot of information, latest research and
images etc that helps us in better understanding
of the3D structures of large biological molecules,
including proteins and nucleic acids.
that's a brief information about PDB
if you want to know more, do visit
WWW.RCSB.ORG

after we know about the PDB, we can choose any biological molecules that we want to explore about. we have chosen trypsin as our subject. haa, i forget to mention that in PDB we can edit the 3D structures and preview it in what way we want the image to be..great,right? above here is the image of trypsin or its nickname 2ZPQ...hope this kind of facts will benefit all the readers of my blog because i am really happy if we can get and share new knowledge...and the most important part is knowledge is prerequisite to wisdom...wallahua'lam..Allah knows everything...
